Elisabeth Chieng // Three Silver Spoons Contributor
Perth based Elisabeth Chieng has had a wild and enlightening ride when it comes to her health journey. Her coeliac disease diagnosis intially left her feeling isolated and anxious, particularly as many of her social gatherings with friends and family were based around the magic of food.
Exploring the gluten-free side of this magic has led Elisabeth to create The Gluten Free Table, a rich food-based blog full of delicious and healthy recipes that anyone can adapt into their life. Though it’s been a complicated journey to embracing a healthier, gluten-free lifestyle, her hope is that in sharing her journey and recipes that readers feel as though they are part of a community.
The journey from discovering I had coeliac disease to embracing a healthier diet was a long one. I hope to make your path easier to navigate as I encourage you to celebrate, learn, discover and embrace a new lifestyle.

Favourite place to visit
There are brilliant cafes and restaurants in Perth. Personal favourites include Ootong and Lincoln in South Fremantle, Hylin in West Leederville, Little Bird in Northbridge and Gordon St. Garage in West Perth. If I had to pick a favorite cafe outside of Perth it would be Auction Rooms in Melbourne. Auction Rooms is adored by locals and tourists alike for its adventurous brunch menu and specialty coffee blends roasted on site.
