Laura Donaldson // Three Silver Spoons Guest Contributor
Education: Currently completing a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery
Currently studying and a regular health enthusiast, Laura is keen to develop simple, health-conscious recipes that are easy to recreate by other students or anyone with limited time in the kitchen. She cooks with heart and love, and always with the intent of simplifying food while keeping bountiful flavours in the mix.
Laura’s involvement in the Rural and Indigenous Health Club WILDFIRE, aims to foster interest and raise awareness of health disparities and such issues faced by these groups.
Her personal experiences with food and refining a healthy routine were full of both wins and hurdles, and she hopes her contributions to Three Silver Spoons will allow others to tackle their own barriers to good health by learning from her story.
I wait each year for Autumn: a time centred around spice and warmth. Perfect weather to wear one of my 20+ scarves, sip chai tea, and enjoy the warmth of sun on my back.
